It's a graphic life - Kiser
This post is dedicated to a friend of mine Haydar Barnes, designer/founder of Kiser. The KISER line is based on the concept of "Hunt Beauty." Hunt Beauty is defined as the pursuit of truth and originality. Kiser has worked with Chloe, DJ A-Trak , HBO, The Brooklyn Circus and Timberland among others. I will visit with Kiser at the Pool/Project/Magic tradeshow later this month in Vegas, so stay tuned for photos when I get back.
To purchase and/or explore the line more, drop by his new sugary sweet website here. Remember, this is A Graphic Life.

rock the bells - P. Monch, Supernatural, Nas, Talib Kweli, Erykah Badu, Illmortal Technique and WU-TANG!!! WU-TANG!!! WU-TANG!!!
I'm far from being an old timer, but the saying, "There is noting better than the good old days" sounds more and more true everyday. Beyond every memory of Jordan and Pippen controlling the hardwood. Or poppin' in classics like "Beat Street" or "Juice" in the VHS, or going bananas over the latest Nike product, there was always something else entrenched in my life: music.
There was Biggie, Nas, and occasionally Pink Floyd, but then there was The Wu. Almost everyone in our generation will remember The Wu-Tang Clan. There are just those certain things that stick with you. With ball it could have been that dude MJ or with your first crush in the 4th grade (oh Erica Venor, where art thee????), but with music, at least for me, it was those grimmy brothas from S.I.N.Y.
If I were to die tomorrow I can now say I can die a happy man. From seeing John Elway, Bo Jackson, Mike Jordan, Griffey Jr., Barry Bonds surpassing homerun history, the Bronx Bombers, the Fighting Irish and now the Wu. Seeing them all live in flesh now completes my childhood check list of my role model influences. Wow.

2007 magic/pool/project NBA All-Star Weekend, Las Vegas
Well it's about that time again for my bi-annual Las Vegas trip to sweat my ass off at the Magic/Pool/Project trading apparel shows. These pics were from this past February and I had a different camera at the time so they really kinda suck. Regardless the trip was a beast and I will heading back at the end of this month. The next round will be diesel, I promise!
