What it be fam? Brace yourself cause this Friday Aditk footwear is celebrating it's one year anniversary of making you look like the contemporary street thug you always wanted to look like. I can't even begin to tell you how big this party is going to be. And for dessert there will be special guests Sober (The Party), Los Hip Hop Guys , aone and a live performance by PPT. It's 21+ and free as free gets! You thought that gas explosion was big yesterday, wait till this shit jumps off, word is bond.
This is a very exciting post because it features some of my own work. Recently I teamed up with Darren Young, owner of Adikt footwear to produce a limited edition "one year anniversary" shirt to celebrate...yes his one year anniversary of the shop. The shirts will be sold only at the shop and are very limited in quantity.
Back before HD television sets made ESPN commentator Stuart Scott's lazy eye unbearable to endure, he used to say that any particularly nasty play was "harder than Wu-Tang with a headache;" well I am proud to present an even harder clan(not really), the Kool Kids Club or Kool K.C. for short. There isn't a damn thing kooler. Keep it movin cause we are simply unfuckwitable.
Stay tuned for the "Make it Rain (unofficial title) video" coming very very soon. Say word.
The women's streetwear game has been bananas this past year. See Jane hate. Watch Rosie stunt tee by Tens. You can purchase this tee for your lovely lady here. That's what's up.
Okay so I live for underground street wear and these photos take me back to my pillage to the legendary Brooklyn Circus in Brooklyn, NY. I must have walked all of Brooklyn to find this place, but the pain and heat was well worth it. What can I say? The store was small as hell but they had sh*t I thought I would have never seen before, and I thought I seen it all. So if your ever in the BK area, this small street wear boutique is a must! Stay tuned for more store profiles. ¡Stay Positivo!
I'm far from being an old timer, but the saying, "There is noting better than the good old days" sounds more and more true everyday. Beyond every memory of Jordan and Pippen controlling the hardwood. Or poppin' in classics like "Beat Street" or "Juice" in the VHS, or going bananas over the latest Nike product, there was always something else entrenched in my life: music.
There was Biggie, Nas, and occasionally Pink Floyd, but then there was The Wu. Almost everyone (except Calvin) in our generation will remember The Wu-Tang Clan. There are just those certain things that stick with you. With ball it could have been that dude MJ or with your first crush in the 4th grade (ohhh Erica Venor, where art thee????), but with music, at least for me, it was those grimmy brothas from S.I.N.Y.
This is the trailer for the long-awaited documentary Wu-Tang Revealed, produced and directed by GZA. This shit is a must see joint for all lover of the hip hop game. Strong suggestive language, listeners beware!¡Stay Positivo!
Is it just me or do I see a biter?!? Above is a flyer I designed to celebrate a couple milestone birthday's for some friends of mine. And below is a similar-looking flyer I found on myspace... hmmmmm do you see the resemblance?!?
